Janine's Quilt and Prof. David Green

This is a quilt one of our groups made for a lady that lost her husband. It is made using his shirts. The middle is an embroided cartoon picture of her husband and the embroideries are of things he liked. The top picture was the band he was a member of. I designed the quilt.
Margot and I are off to a talk with Prof .David Green. It should be very interesting as he has done so much in the art world.

Keep Stitching

What a wonderful quilt for the lady to wrap herself in..... I really like the feature corners in the piano key boarders.

The quilt is great! I'm very ignorant, but who is Prof Green and why are you talking to him? Is it about the quilt?

Carol here is his site.
It was great to hear him talk on mixed media and how he does a canvis painting and then stitches into it. He had a lot of pieces there to show us. He is very easy to talk to.
