Flowers in the Sunshine

I also taught an online course flowers in the Sunshine for learningfa. I enjoyed the online teaching so much.

Hello it has been a while

Hi All

It had been a while since I have posted on here. I had emergency surgery and although the surgery went well my mind did not. It has taken me till now to get things together. I just could not believe it happened to me.

Yesterday was the first time in months that I was able to go to my studio and do some work or should say clean it up after pulling things out for people a few times and not putting it back.

Anyway before this happened I had taught a class and these were the results. They loved the class and one lady has made a bag with her piece.

I will try and update todays class tomorrow it is a PVC paper making class. Very interesting.

My Doll finely finished

I have finely finished my Doll. It is a Priscilla McDonald doll. I really enjoyed making her. She is called Celerbration.

She is the same doll as the other girls that I posted a couple of weeks ago.

Mum's mother's day quilt

This is the quilt I made for Mum and she loves Elvis so now she can sleep with him... It will make her day.

My little dog finished. He looks so sweet. Also a little Asian doll I made for my granddaughter for when she comes down in June.

It has been a very cold week here. The nights very cold but the days are lovely and you can sit and feel the sun going into your body. I love this time of the year and early spring.

May is here already

This is the wonderful bark of a leopard tree. A friend has two in her yard and I could not believe the colour in the bark.
This is a little dog I made still have to put his mouth and nose on but he is so cute.

Hi again
Well Easter over. We were very lucky to leave on the Monday morning as that night the river flooded and where we were camped was covered with water. It was nice but was a bit wet.
The last two weeks have been busy for me organising classes for our quilting group and getting ready to teach again.
I still have not finished my doll as I have decided I want to have smaller hands on her. I think the others are to big.
I have made Mum a quilt for Mothers day and an Oriental Doll for my grand daughter.
I will post when I take pic of them.

Hi All

We are off to spend Easter on the river band of the Mary River on a property near Gympie. There has not been to much rain up there in the last couple of weeks so we are hoping it will stay clear. We decided not to go last year as the weather was wet on the Sunshine Coast and it was beautiful up there so taking the chance and going.

I have a couple of picture of a doll two girls made and mine will hopefully be finished over Easter and I will post mine then.

Blue Wren stump work

Blue Wren stump work that a friend made for me. It is just beautiful.

Anzac weekend 8 of us girls are going to one of the girls unit in Caloundra from Friday to Sunday. 3 of us have decided to do this bird or one that free stands on a branch. Can't wait to see how we go with this.

There has been so much rain on the Coast the last few days and flooding in places. We live in land on a property and it poured cats and dogs last night and our drive way is starting to wash out. My husband is down trying to fix it up as there is a lot more rain expected tomorrow.
